AMP-Europe’s Candy-Can x Pac-Man can recognised at The Canmaker Cans of the Year Awards 2025

AMP-Europe’s Candy-Can x Pac-Man collaboration was recognised with Bronze in the Ends, Caps and Closures category at The Canmaker Cans of the Year Awards 2025.

The award recognises the outstanding collectible can series, created to celebrate 45 years of the iconic Pac-Man game. The series features 45 uniquely designed ends, each showcasing retro Pac-Man artwork that captures the spirit and nostalgia of the original game. The designs were brought to life using our innovative H!GHEND technology, demonstrating how premium decoration on can ends can transform packaging into a powerful brand experience.

Commenting on the award, Gerlof Toenhake, Director Sales at Ardagh Metal Packaging-Europe, said: “Candy-Can x PAC-MAN cans represent fun and nostalgia, but above all, they reflect the trust of our customer and the teamwork that made them possible. When all these elements come together, great things happen. We’re thrilled to see our H!GHEND innovation recognised once again, and even prouder of the people behind it. With 45 different H!GHEND designs, this edition is truly one-of-a-kind – a celebration of creativity and innovation.”

Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this creative concept to market - and thank you to our partners for their collaboration and trust.
